Advantages: cool shop, fun stuff to buy, good quality

Disadvantages: sometimes over priced

My friends and I were strolling around Reading shopping centre the other day, like you do, when I noticed this shop: I thought it may be worth a closer look.. and it was! The eye-catching outside display and the see-through glass window where you can see the contents of the shop drew me and probably many others towards the shop and then when you enter, it just gets better.

These shops have been open for over ten years now and their tast has lasted through of 'trying to put the fun back into giving, with uniquely different products at affordable prices, backed by superb customer service' which is great to see. The range of products are found by the buying team, who search the world for new products to make available in the gadgetshops or if you choose to buy online, on the internet site.

The products are catagorised in to groups so easier to view when purchasing online or put in to sections in the shop like in a specific corner etc. These catagories include Bedroom, Bathroom, Family Fun, Kids Corner, Holiday Gadgets, Music, Lighting and True Gadgets. The products range in price from pretty damn cheap to quite expensive but nothing very much like up to a couple of hundred maybe for most big stuff.

There are many sections with many products in. Here's a few examples of what you will expect to find in them;

The products for bed and bathrooms include: a mp3 player you can listen to in the shower, a pen camera, a vibrating head massager, an orgasmator, a bra shelf, a singing bird alarm clock and a roll up dart board. Neon lights are also available in a variety of shapes and sizes for a reasonable price.

In Family Fun there is a Pop Idol Talent Box, a talking bottle opener and much more, and also, in the true gadgets section, there are things like a one-for-all remote control, LCD chess set and a voice operated Smart Car.

There is a whole section for Simpsons themed gadgets and also a section called Bad T
aste full of naked teddy bears and other amusing but rather disturbing items. For the older and more mature buyers, there are things like pull-it corkscrews, a talking pedometer, espresso cups and a lot more.

There are some random and cool things in the Body Beautiful section, featuring a Flashing toothbrush, a arse/face towel - where it tells you which end to use to dry which part of your body, coloured contact lenses, hairdryers and a body fat/water monitor.

Generally, this is a brilliant shop and a change from your normal clothes, computer games or book shop along the high street. Though I only bought a disco ball which spins round for £5, I had fun looking and spent a good half an hour in the shop. If you go to any of the places where they have one of these stores (there are quite a few around London) or you walk past one and have the time, I would reccomend you have a quick look around because it's rather entertaning.

Thanks for reading my review
