I tend to go up Hanley, duck probably once a month and usually culminates with a visit to the Potteries Shopping Centre. It is a very small centre if you compare it to the big cities but for it's size it has most things that you may need to get out of a shopping trip. Coming towards Christmas, once the centre has it's decorations up it looks absolutely stunning and it makes it a real pleasure to walk aroundand experience the atmosphere. Recently they have filled up a few empty units with new shops and appears to have made the centre a bit more modern, it is getting on a bit now and it shows (opened in 1988) and therefore needs some work ...  Read the complete review

The Potteries Shopping Centre The Potteries Shopping Centre is Stoke on Trent's main shopping centre. Situated in Hanley, one of the six main towns of the city (Tunstall, Burslem, Hanley, Stoke, Fenton and Longton) My Grandparents lived in Hanley and this means that I have many happy memories of the town and also the Potteries. As a child who lived in a small Scottish town, there was something hugely exciting about this massive shopping centre (at the time, it was the largest I had seen and I loved it) and even now, going back always brings back happy thoughts of the past. Sadly, it had been a few years since I had been back though my ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Potteries Shopping Centre: Stoke's Main Shopping Centre! (595 words)

The Potteries Shopping Centre is Stoke on Trent's main shopping centre. Situated in Hanley, one of the six main towns of the city, the Shopping centre covers four floors of well known shops and sees thousand of people enter on a daily basis. Ground floor of the centre seems to be popular with families and the older generation as it is an indoor market, open six days a week. The market has around 6 long aisles to wander around for people to pick up bargains of clothes that would be cheaper in the main shopping centre, toiletries, make up and more or less everything that would be a lot more cost effective. The market is great for its variation of butchers as a ...  Read the complete review
