This is an "old fashioned" family run sweet shop run in Winchester (near to the station).

They pride themselves in providing authentic sweets from yesteryear and are stacked high in lovely glass jars. You point out which sweets you want and they then weigh them out for you. The store itself has lovely wooden floorboards and shelves with the sweetie cakes at the back on a wooden table, The children's party bags among other things are on a wooden dresser. They have achieved an old fashioned yet classic look.

The staff (those that I have met) are very accommodating and friendly and whenever I seem to go it is always busy (which goes to show how popular it is even though it isn't on the main high street!)

Prices vary, it is certainly cheaper than my local sweet shop which is pretty good considering how expensive Winchester is. The prices are approx from what I can recall £1.85 for 200g They also offer better prices on buy 3 bags of sweets for example as opposed to just one.

As well as sweets they also sell sweetie "cakes", fudge, tablet and chocolate.

If you sign up to their mailing list they will send you all the latest news on any offers or money offer codes they are running. As well as this they offer a Pocket Money Club. For £49 you get 100g of mixed sweets fortnightly and a discount voucher. For £89 you get sweets every week!

Their range of sweets I would put into these categories being: chocolate, chewy, retro, boiled, candy, fizzy, jelly, liquorice, mint, traditional, sugar free and finally lollipops!
