Advantages: AMAZING Chocolate!

Disadvantages: Quite expensive for every-day consumption

Thorntons is a chocolatiers that sells some of the most delightful confectionary. From chocolate to toffees, Thorntons is well known for being a popular place to buy gifts for special occasions. The chocolate is mouth watering and the toffee amazingly chewy.

Often products are on offer. For example I went in the other day and bought a Sicilian Lemon Mousse bar (which I may add was yummy). This chocolate is part of the continental range which is at the moment on offer- 4 bars for £2.50 (normally 69p each). Also often the childrens range (Percy pig bars, ect) are 3 for a £1 and so on.



In some Thornton shops there are cafes that sell Hot Chocolate to Soups. And with each hot drink you receive a chocolate J.

For a good part of the year beautiful Ice- Cream is available to purchase. Delicious flavours such as Chocolate cinder toffee to Chocolate orange are on offer. You can get a 1, 2 or 3 scoop ice cream with a Chocolate Caramel stick thrown in for free.



You can have boxes of chocolate ect, giftwrapped with beautiful paper and ribboned gift tags, for only £1 per item. This is handy at Christmas when you are run off your feet! I think that it is a special gift to receive a personalised chocolate santa or a football . Thorntons do this for free.



I do find that Thorntons is quite expensive but for the quality and enjoyment of eating the chocolate it is a fabulous treat.

There are products for all budgets though. For example the childrens range starts off at about 39p and from there the most expencive gift hamper is probably about £100.

I defiantly give Thorntons 'the art of the chocolatier' a high rating as I really enjoy eating there products (even if they are unhealthy!)
