Advantages: Great qulaity + wide range

Disadvantages: Can make you feel sick

Thornton's is a chocolatier and sells only the finest quality of chocolate.
They are known for being quite expensive but most think it is worth it as the quality of the chocolate is divine.
They sell a lot of novelty chocolate and especially at christmas time such as chocolate santa's and you can also personalise gifts and use them as christmas presents. Thorntons sell chocolate hampers, mothers day hampers and also easter eggs so they have quite a range of products to choose from.
Some of thier products are really innovative. They use strawberry jam and mint and orange and vanilla flavouring to give the chocolate that extra oomph which really distinguishes thorntons chocolate from other brands which seem quite bland in comparison.
The only bad thing is that eating too much of it can make you feel sick as the chocolate is very rich in flavour and texture so it fills you up quickly.
Thorntons is doing especially well at the moment as we are going towards a recession but people buy more chocolate instead. It seems the saying is true...chocolate can make everything better!
