Advantages: Unique flavours, guaranteed satisfaction
Disadvantages: Expensive
Fancy a treat? Why not nip down to one of the many Thornton's chocolate chains, one of which can very likely be found on your local high street.
Established by Joseph William Thornton in 1911, Thorntons is a now famous, British chocolate company . The Thorntons brand owns 400 shops and cafes and approximately 200 franchises.
It might surprise you to find that the highest selling product of Thorntons, is actually the special toffee as opposed to the famous chocolates in store.
When it comes to high quality chocolate, Thorntons has to be one of the best. Thorntons is now a household name and in my opinion, Thornton's chocolates are so unique, that the taste makes them stand out from all other chocolates.
Thortons Chocolate also sell fresh flowers, wine and champagne, and hampers which are designed to 'overflow' with chocolates. What could be more romantic for a loved one?
I recommend that you check out the The Thorntons website at www.thorntons.co.uk.
The website is relatively easy to use and is ideal if you are searching to buy treats or presents for loved ones. Not only can you buy a selection of chocolate goodies in addition to toffee, fudge and truffles but you can also request that your items are personalised - for instance having names and messages writen on your chocolates.
Thorntons chocolates and goods can be more expensive than your run of the mill chocolates - but the unique taste justifies this. However for this reason, you will probably only purchase chocolates for an occassional treat or gift.
Summary: Worth buying for a treat or a gift
