As the recession bites harder, is there a return to more formal dressing? A crisp shirt and a sharp tie give a man the edge. When times get tough, smart men put on a smart tie. This should be great news for Tie Rack. It first opened its doors in 1981. I say doors but Tie Rack is best known for its open kiosk style retail outlets that we have all come across in shopping malls and airports, leading the niche retailing boom of the 1980s. An international brand name that offers quality products at reasonable prices, Tie Rack is a shopping chain that does not get the recognition that it deserves. You may think of Tie Rack as being a shop for the more mature customers, but you are wrong. They strike a very good balance in catering for everyone's taste regardless of age. Tie Rack is a great place to find gifts for men and women of all ages and the stores are conveniently placed in locations where you may need to find a last-minute present.
