There is something about shopping in Tiffany that is special- I have been to four branches - the instore branch in Harrods, Sloane Square*, New York and Bond Street*. Now at this point I suspect you re thinking- money bags- rich b..... but you couldn't be further from the truth.
I have no clue as to how much the most expensive items in the store are - suffice to say I do know that there are far too many noughts for my budget. Even if I won the lottery I don't think I could spend at that level.
What I can tell you is enter and investigate the larger branches* - and you will be able to buy something of quality within your budget for a special present - special not because of the price but because the blue Tiffany box tied with white ribbon- looks sooooooo good. The quality has always been superb.
My present purchases have been a Tiffany box containing two packs of cards. mugs, a beer tankard. A money box, a pen, a drinking glass and on three occasions necklaces. Also as a work colleague gift a carafe and water glass set. The prices ranged from £10 to £80.
The service is first rate and I have never felt I was being treated any differently because I was not a big spender.
One of the lovely times I remember was when my two aunts came to London on a coach trip from Yorkhire- I met up with them and presented them with individual Tiffany bags each containing a white ribboned Tiffany Box.
They told me when they got home that they loved their new mugs- but would never forget the looks and comments they got on the journey back to the North, Tiffany Bags on their laps.
So don't be too quick to rule it as "out of my league"
Summary: An enjoyable shopping experience
