£80 for only 6 months wear ?? (Timberland)

I spent £80 on a pair of timberland boots last winter and what a waste of money that has turned out to be!
There just 6 nearly 7 months old and already ive replaced the laces and now the sole of the boot is starting to creek and work loose.

These boots haven't had a hard life really, im a single parent so expect shoes to last when i spend such alot of money on them.They have been worn nearly daily since i got them to be honest but only to the shops,park and walking the dog. Not climbing mountains and other such things that they are supposed to be made for so they should still have some bloomin good wear in the yet shouldn't they ? ?

Ive bought my daughter a little pair of timberland's too but at this rate im not expecting them to last long either.
such a shame and i was expecting alot more from such a well praised brand

Summary: lovely comfy boots but should be at that price. expected them to last longer with such an easy life
