TimeNewest Review: ... card to start wich refused to play anything. After a very long wait on the Time computer line I got through to someone who I'm sure had never heard of a sound card. After about 15 minutes (which cost a fortune!) we were none the wiser to the reason for my sound cards ineffect. I then tried the email customer support and after several emails to someone whos first language was definitely ... more |

Fancy a new PC? Well take my advice and walk straight past the Time computers shop as all you will get from them is trouble. I have myself had a Time computer and two of my friends have bought from Time too and none of us have been satisfied wither with the merchandise or the after sales service. Sure the PCs look nice and shiny and seem to have all the toys in the shops but when they arrive at your house some or all of it will not work. Personally I had trouble with my sound card to start wich refused to play anything. After a very long wait on the Time computer line I got through to someone who I'm sure had never heard of a sound card. After about ... Read the complete review

Having been (conned?) into buying a 'cover plus' warrenty, i was almost excited when the pc arrived and i found a problem. My modem had been installed (presumably in such a hurry) that it was completely misaligned from the port at the back. I then saw an advert to allow Oxford Universtiy access to the computer to run programmes for the development of cancer treatments, and that was the first time I thought about an upgrade. I looked at the list of computer hardware and took note. I was actually interested in memory and found it all confusing. While I was doing this I took a look at the ... Read the complete review

I certainly won't be wasting my time ever using a Time Credit Card again after a using them to buy a TV and fridge at Currys. Time and Currys belong to the same company so you would think that they would be able to communicate between each other, think again. I purchased a fridge at Currys using Time finance, all went fine. Some months later I moved to a new place and bought a TV at Currys using Time finance again. At Currys the brought up my details on their computer and I pointed out that I had moved and thus the TV would have to be delivered to the new address. The TV arrived so I assume they had the new address and this had been passed on to Time as ... Read the complete review
