I have found that people either love or dislike TK Maxx!

There Key products:

They are basically a clothing store that sells designer and brand clothing at a discounted rate. The store also sells other items such as homeware products such as vases etc, but this range is limited.

Layout:

The layout and display of products can be off putting for some people, clothes are generally hanged on long poles and in size order. Due to how busy the store can get and the store layout, it does some times resemble a jumble sale!

Staff:

Due to the nature of the business, TK Maxx are not the type of store that you can ask a member of staff is there a particular size of clothing kept in the warehouse, it is either on the shelf or they do not have it.

Staff on the till tend to be quite quick at their job, and I have not had any bad experience with any of their staff.

Why is it so cheap:

Many may wonder how can the brand items be sold for so cheap, well the answer is (which I was informed form a friend of mine who worked in a TK Maxx store) is that items are usually last seasons stock, purchased in bulk or there are slight defects which did not pass the quality control.

However, I must stress that these defects are so minimial that you won't even notice what the defect is unless you search with a fine comb, typical defects I have found were that the inside labels is not stiched evenly.

Try on before purchasing:

One thing I have learnt since shopping at TK Maxx is that you should really try the clothes on before you purchase it. Sometimes though the label says small the item was far too big for me or vice versa.

Baby Clothing:

I think they are the best for parents or those who want to purchase clothing for children. Being a new parent I have realised they grow fast, rather then spending big bucks on clothes they will grow out of in 3 months, I rather go to TK Maxx and purchase same type of clothing at discounted price.

Summary: If you want brands but at a cheap price, they are worth a visit
