Advantages: Amazing prices

Disadvantages: Not a great shopping experiences- lots of sifting required!

TKMaxx is a clothing shop that offers clothes with decent brands at relatively very low prices. Besides clothes it also sells shoes and household items. The only thing that is pleasant about shopping at TKMaxx in my opinion is the prices. Clothes are crammed onto rails and it is pretty laborious looking through them. Looking through is very necessary because I find that 95% of the clothes here are clothes I would not consider wearing.

The thing with TKMaxx is that it is very random. Sometimes I will go and find all sorts of things that I like, other times I will go and just find a store full of trash. The brands they have are varied and well recognised for example Levis, Calvin Klein, Boss, Armani just to name a few.

There are unrecognised labels mixed in as well which further adds to the need to sift through rubbish to find a gem. One thing that you do learn from shopping here is how much trash even big names like Armani manage to produce.

The household section is no different from the rest of the store in the sense that it is completely random. You can find anything from Buddha statues, to wii accessories to motorbike locks, making it great fun to look around even if you don't find anything you like.

I would say that it is worth visiting this store on two or three occasions and I would imagine that you will find quite a few things that you like at incredibly low prices.

Summary: Worth going to if you want bargains
