This is one of the best toys I have encountered for small children (about 2 to 5). It is a construction kit, with about a dozen chunky, easy to handle pieces, which icludes a motor so that you build toys that go. Premium Review Free parts replacements from careline (153 words)

I can certainly recommend the customer care line reached via Tomy's website.(Tomy.Careline@tomy.co.uk). I e mailed them recently regarding a broken stylus on my daughter's maga sketcher, telling them that we were all a bit disappointed, as it was a toy she used a lot. We asked whether they were available as a spare part, expecting to have to buy one, but the following day they returned my e-mail, saying that a replacement was in the post. Sure enough a couple of days later, not one but 2 replacements came free of charge. It is such a pleasant change to get good customer service these days, so I thought I should recommend them here. My husband thinks we ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tomy: First Friends Pyramid (202 words)

I was fortunate enough to win a prize from the Tomy website a few weeks ago, and although it is now a little "young" for my daughter who is nearly 2 years old now, it is a great toy. It's called "First Friends Pyramid" - this is a cloth pyramid which fastens at the peak with velcro strips, and unfolds to reveal 3 different "watery" scenes. The scenes are homes to 3 little cuddly animals - a duck, frog and crocodile, which sit in a net, lily pad and river respectively. You can also hide the little animals away in the centre of the pyramid. The animals have little doors to go through, each with a different colour or texture for ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review rise and shine, horrified! (418 words)

My daughter was brought a Rise and Shine Rabbit from the Tomy range for Christmas. It is a rabbit in a bean bag base, with coloured beads on the front, you push the rabbit down, and it comes up to the tune pop goes the wheasle. At the time she was 6 months old, and then just 3 months later, I was horrified when I noticed that the back of the plastic, yellow ears had started peeling and breaking off. Of course I took it strait away from her, with a big screaming fit because she loved it, and I took photos of it using my digital camera (see opinion!) and e mailed it to the care line. I done this over a bank holiday of all times and finally, I rang them at the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tomy Neo range (239 words)

Tomy have brought out a range of 4 toys developed with babies in mind. Their first one, called the Neo 1, is a round Gripper. It has a small (quiet!!) rattle in it and small area on it with different textures of plastic on it. It is lovely and soft to hold and chew and aimed at babies from 0-3 months. (my son, now over 7 months STILL loves it!!) The Neo 2, for 3-6 months is what they call a Picker. It contrasting textures and coloured beads, knobs and noises. It's a little hard to explain but Jake thinks it's fab, he goes beserk as soon as he even sees it! The 6month+ toy is a Spinner. It can be played with either way p and has some great little ...  Read the complete review
