Top ShopNewest Review: ... shops and designer ware, but the price, is often quite high, I found a pair of jeans in Top Shop and a pair of jeans in New Look, practically idential, but Top Shop were literally double the price. However, I still shop there, and do occasionally find something to suit me, and if you're a size 6-10 you will definitely find a lot of absolutely gorgeous clothes available, that are very fashionable, I mean Kate Moss has designed for Top Shop, so as you can imagine they do really nice, up to date clothes, at a much lower price than designer stuff. The shops themselves are also really nicely laid out, with everything on view with good sized c... more |

Top Shop is a fantastic shop, if you are stick thin, or really into fashion. Now don't get me wrong, being a size 12 with bigger-than-average boobs, I have still managed to find the odd bit or bob in Top Shop which didn't make me look completely ridiculous, and I really do love the clothes in there, however, it is very rare I'll find much (especially top or dress-wise) that will suit my figure. Obviously the shop can't be blamed completely for this, as with it being a high-street shop trying to keep up with the latest fashion and trend phases, I feel it does this really well, the clothes in their, as I've said are beautiful, the only problem is ... Topshop: Obviously, as a male, I will be reviewing the Topman part of the shop! Topman is one of my favourite high street stores for shopping. I find shopping itself fairly benal (I know a lot of people would disagree with me), but I don't actually mind shopping in Topman. All the topman outlets I have frequented have been well laid out and air-conditioned well, so the usual hectic, archaic and frustrating shopping experience is avoided in this shop. The staff in the store usually know what they are talking about, and as a result give sound advice. Anyway, onto the clothes. I am generally fond of many of the clothes in topman. Yes, they ... Topshop has long established itself as THE high street shop for people in my age group, and in my opinion it is easy to see why. I've shopped in loads of different stores, from the cupboard we have at home in Sunderland to the absolutely enormous Oxford Street flagship and its safe to say that pretty much every time I go in, there's something I want to buy. Whatever store I go into the format seems to be the same - plenty of wall displays and rails spaced out with various mannequins dotted around the shop. There are no fancy tricks in a Topshop store, the clothes just speak for themselves. There is almost always music playing, usually some upoming indie band ... Read the complete review

Topshop is probably the most popular fashion store in the UK for my age group. Although I feel sometimes that they try too hard to be different and cutting edge. I often see clothes in there that are so bad that i think that nobody would want to buy them, but infact people buy them for this reason - to be quirky and different. I also think that Topshop are overpriced compared to other stores such as New Look and H&M who sell similar items of the same quality. I usually only go into Topshop when the sales are on because I hate spending so much on an item to then see it reduced to a fraction of the price. What I do like about Topshop is the concessions such as Reko ... Read the complete review

*** This is a store only (i.e. not website) review *** I've been shopping at Topshop for over 10 years, whether it's been at my closest store in Liverpool, the humungous one on Oxford Street or the various smaller branches in towns and cities up and down the country. I've even been to a mini branch in Madrid. Recently I've beome a bit cheesed off with the place, though (Topshop, not Madrid!). *** Layout *** This is a generalisation as it depends on the individual branch to some extent, but in the past I've found the store layout to be pretty good, with clothes grouped in a more logical manner than, say H&M, where ...
