Toymaster

I have one of these shops in Beccles about 10 - 15 minutes away from me by car. It's a lovely little shop. I see it more like an old fashioned toy shop as it's not as well presented as some other places that sell toys. Although the shop itself is rather cramped and it has two levels and the only access to the upper floor is stairs i do love going here. Once you walk in it's like stepping back in time to when i was a child. It has lots of little party bag fillers like bouncy balls, braclets and little puzzles, all of these really cheap. When I was a child everyone at school had one of cadburys chocolate machines. Can you remember them? You used to put 2p into the slot and out would come a miniture dairy milk bar.I thought this was great and the chocolate tasted yummie. It is funny how some things stick in your mind from your childhood and a trip down memory lane is great! You can still buy the little red machines from toymaster priced at £6.oo but the money has jumped from 2p to 10p for each bar which for children I think is a little steep.
