Advantages: Almost always cheaper than other stores

Disadvantages: Don't take credit cards

For anyone living in the West Country, or on holiday down here, a visit to Trago Mills is a must.

There are stores in Newton Abbot, Liskeard and Falmouth and garden equipment, plants, garden furniture and anything else you can think of is almost always much cheaper here than any other store I know.

Big savings can be made, but there are a few drawbacks. They don't accept credit cards, the shop is almost always packed and you have to buy your carrier bags and hang on to your receipt as they check your goods on the way out.

This is a small price to pay for the cheap things on offer and you could spend a day there.

If you're coming on holiday and need new garden gear, leave a space in the car!
