For somewhere pleasant to do a little bit of shopping in Stoke on Trent, it is always worthwhile to pay Trentham Shopping Village a visit. Although there is not a great deal of shops there, the surroundings are pleasant and there is plenty local to the area to keep the whole family entertained including Trentham's Monkey Forest and always Trentham Gardens.

Trentham Garden has seen a lot of regeneration of the past five years and is renoun originally for the beautiful gardens thats you could walk around and Trentham Lake which was always a nice day out if you are looking to relax a little bit.

TRentham Shopping Village is very picturesque to walk through and all the shops are in log cabins, so it gives you the feel of a scandinavian environment which is a little bit different and really nice to walk around. It could be considered similar to the likes of Cheshire Oaks as many of the shops are outlets, however it does have its own unique stamp on it which makes it interesting.

The shops that you find at Trentham SHopping VIllage are not the sort of shops that you would find in a shopping centre or on the general high street, there is a complete variety of shops consisting of places where you can purchase modern art, antique furniture, china and items that are not produced locally but not normally found on the High Street.

It is a particularly nice place to visit at Christmas when you are looking for gifts and want to purchase someone something a little bit different as you can guarantee to pick up some nice items that cannot be purchased from just anywhere.

The is one shop in particular that I like, Aromatics, although its not a cheap shop, the toiletries that they sell are all hand made using fresh juices, and come in very basic packaging which gives them more of that natural feel. I have reviewed a couple of these products on dooyoo and they are worthwhile purchasing. I have found myself buy them repeatedly being as it is only just down the road from me.

One member of the family that we cannot forget are our pets and the proud dog owner they do everything within this shop that you could more than likely not buy from the likes of Pets at Home, including various kinds of dog coats, and outfits as there are some people that like to put clothes on there dog. I fnd this shop interesting to say the least but would only buy Sandya new collar and lead from there as I have no fetishes in dressing my dog up.

During the CHristmas period the German market comes to TRentham shopping village and you can pick up some really nice German items and also sample the food as there is Bratwurst, Sauerkraut and other German delicacies on sale within the market. The also go to town in giving at a really nice CHristmas feel by decorating all the shops up and is really nice to walk round during early evening when it is just going dark.

Although you couldn't spend all day here, it is a really nice place to visit and there is plenty of other things that can be done within the surrounding area.
