One of the best bit about vertbaudet is the prolific supply of discount codes and free gifts, virtually no order needs to be paid full price for. You can search online but as soon as you register with them they will post and email you with discount codes. The clothes 'happy price' or cheap items are exculded from ost but not all discounts but as there's a 70% off sale every few months you don't have to wait long for a bargain. You get what you pay for with Vertbaudet. It is cheap and cheerful and has some gorgeous items, especially childrens furniture, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered some shelves for my daughters room recently and they took several weeks to arrive and when they did they were missing an essential screw to fit it to the wall. When I questioned it, I was told they could not supply the part seperately and that I would need to order some new shelves, wait for them to arrive, take the bit out and then return the shelves! I have shopped with Vertbaudet twice now for clothes for my children. I have been drawn to them as they have some quite different styles of clothing to what you sometimes find on the high street. They also sell some hard to find items, such as sleepsuits with feet in ages up to 7 or 8 years (good for camping trips!). The first time I ordered, I had a relatively good experience. My only complaint was that they had sent me a £20 off voucher, but I didn't realise until checkout that it wasn't valid on most of my stuff, as it was already priced as a 'value' item. Avoid like plague! My wife was lured to Vertbaudet with some £10 off and 20% off coupons and asked me order 5 items. Items on their webshop are unique and original, to be fair. But I had no idea what kind of an ordeal I was to go through: The shopping bag system is a disaster. Coupons are not valid on most items. After ordering I didn't receive an order number or customer number, nothing. Then their shipping agents claim they can't find your house while Royal Mail, DHL, and UPS makes daily deliveries. My Mother-in-law got me into buying items from vertbaudet after she bought the most gorgeous fold up cradle. It was like nothing I had seen before & with using codes it was a bargain.
