I have been a customer for some 10 YEARS (yes, l said ten years) and in that time have been a model customer. Always taking my vids back on time etc,etc and being my gorgeous, courteous and polite self. There are pitfalls though with these places, as they are mostly all computerised mistakes can and are made. The video shop that l am referring to is within a Local Spar Shop (everyone in almost every area must have one)and they have been brilliant up to the last few months. In the Shop along with all your general foodstuffs you have a large section for videos. You join by showing 2 forms of ID, one with your address on. Then you can start to hire your films to watch. All prices are per film per night and the Top Titles are £2.00, (Ones like Jim Carey in Me, Myself and Irene or Gladiator), then the regular titles are £1.50 (like Perfect Storm), then Childrens titles for £0.75 (Disney new releases are classed as Top Titles).
