My favourite Our-Price turned into a V-shop which in case you don't know is a miniature Virgin megastore I presume.

All that large selection of music, computer games, phones etc that I had got to know in my Our-Price vanished into a few shelves full of current CD releases and other promotions at the time. The stock they now carry must be about 1/200th of what it was.

To make up for this lack of music, there is now a couple of internet computers and a bit more space given over to the Virgin Mobile selection (which was present before)

The only advantage is that it is easier to get around the shop because it's got nothing in it.

I really hope and plead for Virgin not to turn all the Our-Price shops into V-shops as it would be a tragedy. I suppose the only good thing would be that they would have to sell most of the stock off in the conversion process and that you might pick up some bargains then!
