Advantages: Some good shops

With Lincoln only being a small city really, it only really offers a small shopping centre. It's not the best centre in the world but it is the home to some good shops overall.

The waterside shopping centre is located right in the middle of Lincoln it is amongst all the main shops and has a big green sign above the main entrance so that people know what it is.

The shopping centre has 3 floors in total. The entrance leads onto the middle of these floors and this is the most frequented. For the first 50 metres or so are small little boutiques market stalls. These change quite rapidly. At the moment I believe there to be a watch stall and a place to get snacks from.

A little further up is a Vodaphone shop Oasis, a small newsagents, Top shop, a perfume shop, underwear shops a couple of opticians and some more shops I can't remember the names of. Also there is an escalator that takes you on to the ground floor New look shop! This actually takes you in to the store, which I found strange.

The ground floor in general is not used much apart from the New Look; a lot of the shops are empty. There is however a healthcare shop and a shop that sells mirrors. There is also a Primark (The main one is on the high street now).

The top floor is now a food court. This hosts a burger King and a small snack place that also sells coffee. It's nice to go up there occasionally to look at the view of the centre and also of the river next to it.

When it is Christmas time, a lot of the shops that are empty get filled with temporary shops and some bargains can be had in these.

Overall, I wouldn't rush to come to this centre, it's okay, but could do with some better shops.
