Advantages: Have a wide range of books for all ages, along with cd's, dvd's and cards

Disadvantages: You most probably pay more than other places for things like cards and dvd's

I used to love going to this shop with my mum as a kid getting all my new school stationary as they had so much variety of pens, pencils, rubbers, etc. Now adays it's the last place i would take my children as compared to other shops around this seems one of the most expensive shops to go for that type of thing.

On the whole now i do occassionaly look around when i am in need of a book for a present for a relative for christmas. It's not just books they sell these days but also other items like, cards, wrapping paper, magazines, dvd's and cd's. To be honest though i still find all their items like cards and dvd's to be expensive for what they have. If you were to go down the street a couple more shops along from this in Norwich they have an extremely cheap shop for that sort of thing rather than buying them from WH Smith. Also if you shopped around you would be sure to get the dvd's at a much cheaper price too.

They do alot of offers though throughout various times of the year such as the new school year, christmas and of course the sales in january but this mainly for their books.

I did used to shop here but nowadays i just visit the shop to have a look around. The shop though is very neat and tidy, very well presented. There are not that many staff around apart from on the checkout tills. If you do need help though they are friendly and polite.

If you need specific stationary or book whilst out shopping then this is the store for you to get it in but be prepared to pay a bit more money for it.

Summary: A well stocked books specialist along with stationary, cards, dvd's but too expensive for me
