Better than they used to be (Wickes)

Advantages: good priced items

Disadvantages: can run out of stock and end item

In the past I was not to keen on Wickes but last year after looking around for weeks for a new kitchen we decided to give them a look.
I was very surprised to see how much they have improved over the last few years. When we looked at the kitchen we were asked if we needed help but was not pestered all the time.
In the end we decided on a take home kitchen and after we measured the kitchen up we went to purchase our kitchen units. We were pleased to see they had plenty of stock of all the units and were even more surprised to find they had a 60% off sale. We had to get the worktops a week later as we couldn't get them home but luckily we know someone with a van.
The units were easy to assemble and they seemed stronger than we expected. They seem to keep the take home kitchens going for a long time so if you decide to add more units at a later time they should have them in stock.

A few weeks later we went back to get some more vinyl floor tiles as we were a couple a packs short and were told they had stopped that line and were not getting anymore in.
I think you should check with them how long the item will be in stock if you believe you may need more at a later date.
I feel Wickes has improved and is a good alternative to other outlets.
