Advantages: Great range of products at great prices

Disadvantages: Ordering of products which they've run out of can be hit and miss

To quote a friend of mine a few years ago when the reast of us were going off to university and he was setting up a home with his girlfriend. "If Wilkos don't stock it, do I really need it?"

He used to swear by Wilkos for everything household/cleaning/garden etc It was his shop of choice and he was always telling us about his latest bargain from there.

A few years later and while setting up my own home with my girlfriend, we have also found that Wilkos really is a great place for so many things.

We go into town most weekends and almost invariably there is something we need which Wilkos stock, be it saw dust for our guinea pig, paint for decorating or any cleaning products for both home and body. They always have a great selection and what's more, always at a great price!

I think their biggest bargain ever was Gillette Mach 3 razor blades. When they were fairly new to the market, other shops were charging a fortune for new blades. Wilkos were under cutting these other shops by as much as £5, I would have been mad to go anywhere else for them!

Wilkos is always our first port of call whatever we are looking for and they seldom let us down!
