Wilkinsons is a great place to shop as there are some real bargains to be had, they can generally be found on the house street and they position themselves as a company in terms of products somewhere between a pound shop and a place like Woolworths so what you get is govalue products without the inate tackiness of a pound shop.

Wilkinsons sell a wide range of products both for the home and also for personal use. I tend to stock up on cleaning products when ever I visit as they have well known brand names and their own brand versions at very cheap prices, they are also very good for basic toiletries as well and often have promotions running in the stores.

I find them also very good when it comes time to buy wrapping paper for Christmas and they have a small toy section in their stores as ell as lots of cheap stationary. They also have gardening and decorating sections as well and while I have purchased gardening stuff from them I have never looked much at their homewares and decorating products.

I do find the queues get quite long on the way out which is annoying if you only havone or two things as there are no express tills but overall they have to cut costs somewhere I guess.
