Wilkinsons is a really useful shop that sells a bit of everything. There used to be two in the town where I live but the bigger of the stores was replaced by Home Bargains, so now we just have one smallish Wilkinsons.

It really is the store that sells everything and it is also cheap as well. The thing I love about Wilkinsons is that it sells D.I.Y. products, most of the hardware stores like B&Q, Wickes and Focus are always found out of town on some retail park. Where as Wilkinsons is always located in the town centre so if you need to pick up some paint, screws or hand tools you can call into Wilko's while you're up town doing your normal shopping instead of driving to and searching around a massive D.I.Y. store.

The Wilkinsons store in my town sells the following:

Toiletries - You can find any kind of toiletry needed, shampoo, bodywash, toothpaste, toilet roll, deodrant, moisturiser etc. It would take a long time to list all the toiletries they sell but basically everything you need. At a very good price as well. Buy one get one free and price cuts are also a feature throughout this section.

Household cleaning products - Bleach, oven cleaner, washing tablets, fabric conditioner, bathroom cleaner etc. again too many to list but everything you require.

Kitchen accessories - They sell plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, utensils, tea towels, packed lunch boxes.

D.I.Y. - Screws, nails, glue, hand tools, adhesives, all sorts of D.I.Y. items, as I said before great to be able to get in a town shop.

Paint - A wide range of colours in emulsion and glosses, they sell dulex and their own brand.

Gardening - Seeds, weedkillers, plant food and garden accessories.

Pets - Pet food and toys.

Stationary - Pens, pencils, crayons, notebooks, colouring books.

Confectionary - Sweets, chocolate, crisps and soft drinks.

There is probably loads of items I have missed off and in the bigger stores you will find lots more, furniture, toys and clothes to name just a few. It really is a great store where you will find everything is reasonably priced. It is a shop I always seem to be in getting bits and bobs and I would be lost without it.
