What would I do without Woolworths at Christmas time and all throughout the year,this store in Chesterfield was refurbished a couple of years ago and is very well set out , plenty of room even for double buggies, the aisles are well laid out and shelves are always full,a comprehensive range of dvds, computer games etc a home section which seems to be getting even better,some lovely things for childrens rooms such as duvets,rugs,throws,bins, mirrors etc in matching sets,pretty pink fairies for girls and bright,jazzy rockets for the boys ,toys galore from babies upwards,they have a selection of childrens books starting at just £1.00 which are really nice.They sell a ...

Woolies is a little gold mine for the kiddies, ask any child under the age of 10 for infomation about what their toy of the moment is Woolies has got it. Limited myself to a budget of £20 found that the Chorlton Cum Hardy store in Manchester covers most bases, was faced with the possiblity of buying a birthday gift i.e. Meygan Bratz Doll Salon Set for £20 at Toys R Us. Woolies! Woolworths is such a great shop with a great variety of products. Woolies have now got their own catalogue instore where you can search for things which may be in their Big W stores. Big W is also owned by Woolies and stocks many of the things that a normal woolworths store does not. I personally like woolworths. Its great to have a pop in, especially if you are looking for a present.
