My daughter is now two years old, she has been through the Teletubbie stage where everything including p.js had to have Laa Laa and friends on it and now thanks to the influence of the four year old girl next door she is into Barbie. Now I don't mind her having a Barbie bag, umbrella and dinner set but I really do draw the line at the range of clothes. I did give in a while ago and buy a Barbie dress and it cost £18... shock..horror.. and it was horrible. It was a thin cotton, it looked cheap and tacky and it washed badly. My next door neighbour buys all the Barbie range (under protest) and she agrees that it is overpriced and badly made.
So for any of you out there that still feel the need to buy Barbie go to Woolworths as their Barbie range is always half price in the sale....which is still even more than it's worth.
