Advantages: clothes are a bit different

Disadvantages: If they DO the odd XL there'll be none left 2 nano-seconds after the new stock arrives

How HILARIOUS that I should read another report saying that the clothes were great, but the staff obnoxious, as the EXACT same thing occurs at MY local store!!
I now talk to myself, as I DARE to venture into the land of the stick thin and un-childed as I get sideways GLARES from the preened, trained-not-to-smile staff.. I say things like "Ooop, here she comes, the size 16 one with the PUSHCHAIR" and "my GOD, she is TOUCHING our CLOTHES!!??!!" .. all to myself, mind...
After a considerable post-baby weight loss I was a size 12 bottom and size 14 top (I am big busted) After taking a selection of XL's in to try on, I emerged with NOTHING that went NEAR me... On asking the 'assistant' on my exit, (I would like to point out there was a queue PLUS a shoppers male partner within a few INCHES away) what the XL actually was.. I was informed; "a UK 16 to 18"
When I said that I couldn't get them anywhere near me and told her of my dress sizes, she scoffed that they were the "largest they do" I mean WHAT is happening in this country?? and WHO takes ON these people??? I'm afraid to say that these girls could do with taking a leaf out of the assistants in the USA, who can't do enough to make the customer feel welcome AND GOOD..

Summary: Nice Clothes DODGY staff
