Polaris Sportsman 500:
... recently purchased a new Polaris Sportsman 500. I have had many quads beforehand and am a very experience rider, but nothing prepared me for the power that this thing has. I blew a stock Yamaha Banshee, Yamaha Raptor, and Kawasaki KFX 700 in a sand drag by far. It mono's when you give it the slightest bit of fuel even though it is quite a heavy machine, and can out pull a tractor. I have never seen anything... Polaris Scrambler 500 ... bought my 01` Scrambler new in Dec. 01`. It`s the best, I`ve owned many different atvs and nothing compares to it. There is no other sport bike like it. I run with many guys who have Banshees, Warriors, z400, 400ex, 660 Raptor and many more. Some may be faster, but when they get stuck in a piss puddle all I`ve got to do is flip it in 4X4. I ride weekly on various terrain, I do not baby my bike but I do take care of it and I`ve had no problems with it. It is completely capable of running fully submerged(over the handlebars) in water momentarily, but it takes the belt a few minutes to dry out if you hit water at high speeds. Stock these bikes only run a little over six... Read the full review: Polaris Scrambler 500 4X4 by mudrat777 |

Polaris Scrambler 500 ... recently bought a 2001 Scrambler 500 2x4. Read the reviews by many that said it wasn't a true sport machine (such as Z400, Ex400) and would never win a race with it, much less even enter. While that is true, I find it a great machine for my wife and myself. I don't race as those days have left me years ago. It is fun to drive (doesn't have the utility feel and handling) and I have even gotten my wife interested in the ATV thing. She doesn't like to shift, do the clutch, etc., so the Polaris 500 is just the ticket. I was concerned about the 2 wheel drive as I live in a mountain state (Utah) but I have found it to be reliable in the mud and going up... Read the full review: 2001 Scrambler 500 by payvaa |

Polaris Magnum 325 ... an avid ATV/snowmobile/watercraft enthusiast, I was surprised by the 2001 Polaris Magnum 325. We took this machine on a thourough test it passed just about every one. This machine handles great, but was lacking in top end and because of the smaller motor made it more difficult to obtain the wheel speed needed to truely sling and get out of mud. It climbed over whatever we put in front of it, went across water that was deep enough to come over the utility rack in the front of the wheeler. The entire wheeler was submerged (with the exception of the air intake under the seat and the handle bars) and it rolled over trees larger than 1 foot in diameter. It pulled whateve...
