Advantages: good bike, excellent tractoin, good water wading depth,strong body and frame

Disadvantages: very heavy,automatic gears,large turning circumfrence,expensive parts

im have ownd a polaris 500 2002 model for quite a while and it has servered me well.have won 1 long distance race only due to the bike's strenght and durability.easy to work with and to look after.bit on the heavy side but with its race shocks its an excellent ride.main problem iv had with my bike is tires but may be thats because i live and ride in africa.availability of aftermarket parts is also low thus many a bike are very standerd
