Advantages: 4X4, FASTTTTTT, Handles Great
Disadvantages: Not comfortable w/ 2 people for long distances, Prepare to get muddy!! Tires stick out farther than plastic, No More--- Go buy one!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought my 01` Scrambler new in Dec. 01`. It`s the best, I`ve owned many different atvs and nothing compares to it. There is no other sport bike like it. I run with many guys who have Banshees, Warriors, z400, 400ex, 660 Raptor and many more. Some may be faster, but when they get stuck in a piss puddle all I`ve got to do is flip it in 4X4. I ride weekly on various terrain, I do not baby my bike but I do take care of it and I`ve had no problems with it. It is completely capable of running fully submerged(over the handlebars) in water momentarily, but it takes the belt a few minutes to dry out if you hit water at high speeds. Stock these bikes only run a little over sixty(not bad for a 4X4) but I wanted a bit more. Heres a list of what I`ve done so far. K&N stage 3 kit(cam, jet kit,air filter, prefilter, and pro flow air box), racing clutch spring, DG complete exhaust, ITP aluminum wheels, Gator tires, Changed sprockets, 3000# winch(never used) + a few other minor upgrades. Results-- A 4X4 sport bike that spanks just about everything. My bike runs 89mph now and gets there quick enough to scare me. The automatic give you a massive advantage against the shifters. I do highly recommend that you have this work done by a proven professional, because if not done right you can lose low end or high end. A professional will be able to tell you what to do to get both. For those of you who dont want to spend an extra $3200 on all this, simply run racing fuel, I run 115 octane in mine. Polaris gave me a written gaurantee that this will in no way harm your bike. For a few more $ per fill-up the difference is amazing, better take-off and 4-8 mph higher. - 09/05/03 Hi mudrat777. I'm guessing that you don't actually understand what DooYoo is about judging by your comments below and by your 'revenge rating' my opinions Not Useful.
DooYoo is a place where people share their experiences of a product or service to help others decide if the product is worth using.
The point of actually writing an opinion here is so we don't have to go to the Polaris website. Perhaps we don't even know where the website is! Even putting the website URL in your opinion would make it more helpful to us folk who don't know a lot about your vehicle.
Also in case you hadn't realised - DooYoo do frown on revenge rating, abusive comments and racist remarks (your other 'opinion')
