I bought my 1999 used pretty cheap. i beat on it everytime i take it out. With little maintenance it holds up great. I wouldn't advise it for an inexperienced rider because of the weight. If it gets stuck you'll definitely need a tow.

I have a 2005 Scrambler 500. Its an automatic - All Wheel Drive. I have noticed a knock in the casing that the transmission is in. Can anyone tell me what that is???? And can someone tell me where the dipstick is for the transmission fluid??

I like the quad ok. It has decent power. The single brake lever system works much better than I expected. The awd system is awsome. Power is pretty good. Rear suspension is ok.
