I recently purchased a new Polaris Sportsman 500. I have had many quads beforehand and am a very experience rider, but nothing prepared me for the power that this thing has. I blew a stock Yamaha Banshee, Yamaha Raptor, and Kawasaki KFX 700 in a sand drag by far. It mono's when you give it the slightest bit of fuel even though it is quite a heavy machine, and can out pull a tractor. I have never seen anything like it in my life, i needed more power so thats why i traded in my old Raptor for this beast, i am glad i done so.
