... Wednesdays have changed the way I go to the cinema. Basically Orange phone & broadband customers can get 2 for 1 cinema tickets on a Wednesday. You text the word FILM to 241 and you are sent back a unique code that you then show when booking your tickets. Orange Wednesdays ... Wednesdays Description: 2 Cinema tickets for the price of one! through Orange.co.uk - for broadband and dial-up customers. http://web.orange.co.uk/article/pizzaexpress I really like the concept of Orange Wednesdays. You are basically sent a text (which costs only £0.35) from Orange containing a code unique to each customer. You then go along to the cinema on Wednesday (funnily enough!) and present this code to the cashier when buying your tickets. You are then entitled to a buy one, get one free deal on the film. The last time we used this deal was a couple of weeks ago and we went to see a 3d film. The tickets for this 3d film cost a whopping £9.50 each ... Orange Wednesdays ... s face it - times are hard and a lot of us haven t got a massive disposable income. Personally I d given up on going to the cinema, because two tickets were costing £14.40 and when you add on the price of dinks and munchies things were getting truly extortionate. I would say to friends and family- "we are better off getting it when it comes out on DVD - It will be cheaper that way." However I ve always loved the cinema. Orange Wednesdays ... pay full price to visit the cinema again. For me this is the best perk of being an orange customer. All you have to do is text Film 2 4 1 then you receive a text back with your unique code. My local cinema normally costs £7.20 or more if you want premier seats so I always save a fair whack, which can either be used to pay for treats or for another trip to the cinema. I only ever go the cinema on orange Wednesdays now as I get to see twice as many films for the normal cost. There isn t much criticism you can have of this offer. If you want to be really picky, you could say that having to pay 35p for the text and not having included in your allowance is a drawback...
