Orange WednesdaysNewest Review: ... you back a code which gives you a 2 for 1 voucher for the cinema. E.g. you pay for 1 person and get another free. This is excellent and really does make a difference. You do however have to pay about 30p for the text but this is nothing like the cost of a ticket! As adult tickets are over £5 now it turns from a quite expensive night out to a relatively cheap one. To use your voucher you ... more |

Orange Wednesdays is a scheme by Orange (the mobile phone company). It is probably one of the best things about being on the Orange network and something you should take advantage of especially if you have an Orange phone. The way it works is you text "FILM" to 241 and they will send you back a code which gives you a 2 for 1 voucher for the cinema. E.g. you pay for 1 person and get another free. Orange Wednesdays are a service from the mobile phone network Orange. If you send a text to a specified number then they will send you back a code which entitles you to a free cinema ticket. If you are watching your money then this is right up your street. We all know that cinema these days isn't exactly the cheapest thing that you can do especially if you add sweets and drink to the equation. This enables you and a friend to go and watch a film for half the price of a normal ticket. It's great if you split the cost between the two of you. The problem with this service is it does get very packed so I'd advise you to turn up early for your showing. ... Read the complete review

Orange wednesdays are only for orange customers which is a bonus for the network users unfortunately. I have a family that have orange phones and mobile broadband luckly. We take full advantage of this deal due to having three orange users which means we can all go to the cinima which is great. The way that it works is that you send a message to orange to request a half price number to be able to only pay half the price that you would normaly pay. Now going to the cimima would usually cost you over £5 per adult so to pay £2.50 per adult this is great. The only problem is that it is only on a wednesday and we tend to go to very late showings so getting up ... Read the complete review

Orange wednesdays are the only reason I continue to use Orange as my network provider, its such a nifty little deal! Basically for all Orange customers you can get 2 orange tickets for the price of 1! All you have to do is text the word 'film' to '241' and you get a text back with your reference number simple! The text costs approx 35p i believe, but you save around £8! I only ever go to the cinema on a wenesday, as prices have got rather expensive, my local Odeon in Uxbridge is £8.20! Me and a friend £4.10 each, why not?! If you buy snacks at the cinema then thats where the cinema is going to conn you as its all really over priced! ... Read the complete review

My wife is a cinema fanatic and most weeks she goes to the cinema with her sister leaving me at home with the kids!!! I hope you all feel sorry for me. I don't mind though I love films but I would rather stay at home in the comfort of my own living room and it also gives me some time to spend with the kids on my own. Everyone wins. We have a Cineworld in our home town and they used to go every Tuesday as it was a bit cheaper on a Tuesday by about £1.50. Not now though we have Orange Wednesday's its loads cheaper. How it works is you need an Orange phone and it doesn't matter wither its pay as you go or on a monthly contract. On any given Wednesday ... Read the complete review
