Advantages: It's a two for one deal

I love to think of Orange Wednesdays as a great free deal. It may be buy one get one free, or two for the price of one or whatever. But essentially I am getting something for free and therefore I love this deal.

It will differ greatly from area to area and cinema to cinema when it comes to getting in somewhere with this deal. Out of three of my local cinemas I'm lucky enough to know that two of them accept this deal, an Odeon and a Vue cinema (the third is Vue too but for some reason they still don't accept the deal). But you can easily find out which of your local cinemas by using the Orange Wednesday section of the Orange website.

When you've found your local cinema which does the orange wednesday deal you'll find that that cinema will have that deal on all the movies playing on the Wednesday, that's been my experience anyway. So it's a good universal deal.

It's pretty easy to use the deal, you just text FILM to 241 and you get a code. You use this code when getting your tickets and you then get two for one.

Sometimes at certain cinemas you can then have a problem with the cinemas being too busy with everyone coming in for the offer. But I don't think it should ever mean you don't get into to see a film just because of the offer, you just need to get there within good time. I haven't had any problems with that anyway.

The only real problem which has ever come up with this deal is going to the cimena with friends and there being an odd number of us, someone ultimately gets left out and that can be very uncomfortable. That's why it's just perfect for couples, though not recommended for a first date.



BUT REMEMBER YOU HAVE TO BE ON ORANGE NETWORK OR BE AN ORANGE INTERNET CUSTOMER TO QUALIFY FOR THIS DEAL!
