Advantages: Great mix of titles, no late fees, freepost envelopes!

Disadvantages: A bit pricey if you are on a tight budget

My husband and I were given a 3 month Tesco DVD rental package as a wedding gift. I must admit I wasn't expecting us to use it really, but we have watched more films in the last 3 weeks than we have probably done in the last year!

The service is provided by Love Film and the way it works is that you search through their archive of DVDs and create your own shortlist of films etc that you would like to rent. You can rate them according to how quickly you would like to see them. When a film becomes available it is sent out to you in the post, along with a freepost envelope that you return the film in once you are done. As soon as they receive it back, you get another one from your list. Simple as that!

You can only have a certain number of movies at home at any one time - according to which package you are on - but you can keep them as long as you like and there are no late fees!

Tesco offer the usual mix of films and box sets, but they also offer TV shows and fitness DVDs - something for everyone!

I am not sure if we would subscribe to the service ourselves, I am probably a bit cheap to commit to the monthly payment, but as a gift idea it was a lovely treat for us! Give it a go!
