we recently signed up for a free 2 week trail with Tesco Film rental after it being recommended by a friend. The first 2 DVDs we received were damaged, one totally unwatchable due to scratches on the disc, the second was skipping/sticking every 10 minutes or so. These were the only 2 dvds we got within the trail and were very disappointed and considered cancelling the subscription, however after sending an email to customer service we were assured this wasnt the "norm", so decided to give it a go for a month. the price is £8.99 per month with unlimited dvds (only one at home at any one time) and we have been very impressed since, to think for the same price you could only get 2 dvds from Blockbuster, its great value without the hassle of having to drive to the video shop and no late fee's. The dvd is delivered to your door, you watch it, return in the post in the envelope provided and wait for your next dvd to arrive form your list, another thing i like about tesco film is (unless you check your emails every day) you are not sure what film your going to get. The service is provided by LoveFilm.

Summary: much better than Blockbuster
