Tesco DVD Rentals is not a new service or idea. Tesco DVD Rentals works along side lovefilm although the connection is kept relatively quiet.

One of the most well known companies for rentals is blockbuster. They also have an online service and as I have used both these and Tesco DVD Rentals I think I am in good position to comment.

I was with Tesco DVD Rentals for 6 months and have recently cancelled the subscription due to the trials and offers i had with them running out. Basically the offer i had was 3 DVD's in the post to you at all times. You send one back then post you a replacment!
This is monitored by a list of titles online that you want to see!

Easy as pie!

The service is extrmemly responsive. I think a lot of people worry about how long the DVD will take to get through the post. Its not long I found each DVD had a turn around average of 4 days- 5 with the weekend!

Sadly however a lot of the new released are heavily backed up. Whcich means new popular titles take a while to get to you. In a couple of cases in my experience I waited 4 weeks!
