Advantages: Quick, easy to use
Disadvantages: Can sometimes be a delay in getting new releases
I recently joined Tesco DVD rental after recieving an offer through the post for 6 weeks free dvd rental, 500 clubcard points and some half price attraction tickets.
Of course at first I thought I would just try it for the 6 weeks and then cancel it so that I had really had my 6 weeks for free whilst also earning some extra clubcard points. However, I have been very impressed with the service offered so far and as a result I have continued to subsribe to them.
They offer a range of packages in all different price ranges so there really is something to suit everyone. I currently pay £7.50 which allows me 4 dvd rentals per month. However I am considering changing this to an unlimited dvd and games package which I believe is around £15 per month.
In order to use the service, you firstly need to register which is a quick and easy process and then you simply select the games or dvds which you would like to hire. DVDs can by found searching by title or alternatively you can search by genre or release date. You then add them to your rental list which is where Tesco will then select which dvd they send out to you. You can prioritise you list to identify which dvd you would particularly like to see by selecting high priority, medium priority or low priority next to each dvd. When Tesco send a dvd out they will then email you to advise you that this has been done, just so you know what is on its way.
On average it usually takes me 2 days to recieve my dvds through and so far I have recieved nothing but excellent and timely service from them.
I would highly recommend this service and it is worth shopping around for the best deals on offer at the time.
Summary: Fast and efficient service
