Disadvantages: Need to spend a bit to get free delivery

Amazon has to be one of the only online shopping sites that I really trust. I'm not saying that the service they offer is perfect, as I have had problems with orders not arriving on a couple of occasions - however, it's the way Amazon has rectified these issues that I have been most impressed with. To make it clear, on 99% of all purchases made through amazon.co.uk, I have received a fast trouble free service. On the rare instance where I have received faulty goods, Amazon has either refunded, or replaced the product, with the minimum of fuss.

The site has a great range of items - and is especially useful for birthday or Christmas shopping. If you're really, really stuck for a gift idea, you can always purchase an Amazon voucher, and let the recipient choose their own product..

Delivery is quick, and products arrive well packaged. If you want free postage, you must spend over £15. Many products offer a next day service, which is great if you've forgotten about someone's special day, and need an ultra fast delivery.

Been using Amazon for years, and will continue to do so.
