Advantages: Good service.

Amazon has been around for a number of years now, and is now rated as the best online bookstore around.

When you think of Amazon you immediately think of books but they sell much more then that.

They now stock videos, DVDs, cds, tapes, books and now have a connection on their site to places like toys are us.

This is fine and obviously should be really good but over the last year the prices have been creeping up and up. Amazon is competing with a number of other online stores and at the moment seems to be coming out best, but if the prices carry on rising like they have been then I am sure that people will be taking business else wear.

Obviously being able to shop online is so much easier then running to catch the bus and having to walk around town in the pouring rain; dodging in-between the big issue sellers. I mean you can sit in the comfort of your own home, your own very comfortable computer chair and at the click of a button order a book.

It is for the above reason that so many people use Amazon and I don’t blame them at all.


I have used www.amazon.co.uk quite a lot now and I find it to be a very good service and is very reliable.

I have ordered a number of items from the site such as cd's books and videos and they are always in stock and posted off very quickly.

The items arrive very quickly and are always very well packed and never damaged.

At the moment I still choose to use Amazon instead of going into town. But my funds are not great and if prices go to high, I will be heading for Water stones.
