Amazon.co.uk is a website I could spend an awful lot of time and money on! It seems to stock just about everything, so it's always worth a look if you have something you need to get, or even to get ideas for gifts. Once I go there though I get very distracted by all the offers and products available I end up browsing for ages!

Famous for selling books, Amazon now also sells DVDs, CDs, homeware, clothes and shoes, accessories, toys and games, electricals, garden stuff, jewellery - and more.
Ideal for Christmas shopping; you could get the whole lot in one go.
Their prices seem to be very competitive, often the cheapest for books and DVDs.
I have bought necklaces from Amazon for gifts and they have been good quality and well-packaged.
Payment is very easy, especially after you have shopped there once and they have your details, it is literally just a few clicks.
Over £5 and delivery is free (unless buying from the marketplace).
There are gift wrapping options.
You can save stuff you like in your basket if you can't decide straight away and come back even weeks later and they will always charge the latest price, even if cheaper than when you first put it in your basket.
They give you an estimated dispatch date when you buy, and then email you when it has been dispatched.
Customers reviews are available for most products, which is very handy.
Extremely useful site.
