Advantages: Millions of products, great service, cheapest prices.

Disadvantages: I can end up spending more than I wanted to with its links to similar items!

Amazon is probably my favourite website on the world wide web (sorry Dooyoo)!

As many of you are no doubt aware, Amazon started out as a webiste that sold books and the name derives from the fact it delivers products from A-Z (Amazon being the first word that springs to mind that contains these two letters!). The website now sells pretty much anything - jewellery, CD's, DVD's, kitchenware and even shoes.

I personally use Amazon to find and purchase CD's as the website seems to stock, or will link you to someone who stocks, every album ever made. I personally like rare funk and soul music and I can spend hours browsing the thousands of titles avaialble to me. This process is made much easier by the clever 'people who bought this also bought..' feature which will show other products that are similar to the one you're viewing. I have found many CD's through this excellent feature which I would never have found otherwise. The Listmania feature also helps you find similar items that you might enjoy.

Aswell as the great service and features, I always find Amazon to be one of the cheapest retailers online (I picked up a Police watch in December from Amazon for £24.99 which was on sale on the high street for £120!) and if you buy something direct from Amazon rather than a marketplace seller, the delivery is free (if item is over £5) and the delivery is very quick.

Amazon is an excellent website, and for me is the only place to shop online!
