Advantages: Very cheap and has masses of stuff

Amazon.co.uk is the aptly named giant of websites which sells nearly everything imaginable. I normally use this website for buying music and games, as well as the odd book and other assortments.

Personally, I find Amazon to be a great site for many reasons and I will continue to use it as my main place of shopping. To begin with, its prices always seems to be absolutely amazing. They nearly always have reductions on things and I find that the prices here are normally cheaper than on HMV which is probably its closest rival.

What you don't get with amazon necessarily is top quality but actually I find that this is very useful. For example I wanted to buy some stuff for my bike, and given that I'm not really into bikes I didn't want anything special, just something to do the job. I found all the stuff I needed on Amazon, nice and cheap, and at least half the price of similar stuff in the local cycle shop.

Another great thing about Amazon is that anything over £5 receives free postage which is great because it means that you don't suddenly find your £5 item costing £8 in total by the time you have received it. The free delivery is a bit slow but I'm not complaining because I love all things free.

This gets a definite 5 stars from me!
