Advantages: Cheap prices, free delivery, huge product range

Amazon.co.uk is one heck of an online e-commerce site, in fact it probably is the best. A few of their main advantages over their rivals are: generally low prices, most items available for free delivery and they have such a wide range of items. There must be millions on the site.

Over the years I've bought loads of items from amazon, these items were mainly CDs, DVDs, computer games and electronic equipment such as headphones. I have found amazon to offer amazing prices on DVDs and computer games as long as free delivery which really does equate to huge savings in relation to buying in the shops.

In regard to their competitors such as play.com I would say amazon are the leaders, even though these two aren't identical companies due to product range, I still feel amazon comes up trumps. Amazon were the original huge online seller and since then they have kept their position as market leader.

Summary: A great online shop with just about everything you could want!
