Amazon.co.uk the bookstore in your home. I love this website for a number of reasons. Being a health care professional, student, educator and parent, books are very much a large part of my life.

I like to browse the "shelves" at Amazon.co.uk and see whats new in my chosen field. I like to see what others have thought of a particular book before I buy. I like to compare prices and see if a pre-owned copy would save me a few precious pounds. All this I can easily do on the Amazon.co.uk website.

It is very easy to use, just type the name of the book into the search box, and all this information will be displayed on screen. You can even see snippets of content. If the book is not quite what you want type in the subject matter and you will get a list of several books on the subject to click on. Sometimes I browse by author or even ISBN number.

Once you have made your decision it is easy to click the shopping cart and proceed to checkout. Amazon will keep you informed as to the progress of your order and of any problems or delays arising. This is very reassuring. Your books arrive with the stated time, usually a few days in my experience.

I have on occasion sold books on Amazon.co.uk. This is a much more straight forward process than selling them on e-Bay as you can type in the ISBN number and the description text and image (if any) are automatically inserted for you.
