Amazon is an online shopping website that sells almost everything - books, cds, dvds, printer ink, electronics, toys... all sorts really.

I have always quite weary of anything to do with shopping online - giving out private information etc. However, there is no need to be concerned with Amazon.

Amazon not only sells their own products, but it also possible to sell your own stuff - unwanted books etc. Until recently, I have only ever bought from Amazon themselves, rather than the other sellers, even though sometimes Amazon might be a little bit more expensive.

It is very easy to find what you want on Amazon, as you can search directly, or browse through categories. When you have found what you are looking for, many products will have a wide range of purchase prices. These are dependent on previous use (i.e. brand new, second hand) and the seller (Amazon or another account holder).

Before purchasing you will need to set up an account which is completely free and stores your address details to make it easier for future use.

To buy you just click 'add to basket' and then when you've finished shopping, 'proceed to checkout'. I have never had a problem when buying from Amazon. It is completely secure shopping and your purchases arrive efficiently and packaging protects the items well.

Another aspect of Amazon that I like is that when logging into your account it offers suggestions of other things you might want to buy that is similar to what you have previously bought. For example, I recently bought computer ink and it comes up with offers that currently on regarding my printer model.

I recently decided to take the plunge and buy from a different seller on Amazon, and their service was just as efficient as Amazon's. Secure shopping and very efficient.

When ordering something you will receive an email regarding confirmation of order and a second email saying when your item has been dispatched.

I have never had a bad experience with Amazon and would highly recommend this website to anyone.
