I’ve used this website on numerous occasions, both to purchase items and just for general reference on products, and each and every time I’ve used it, I have been more than satisfied with the results.
First impressions of the site are impressive. The search facility for finding items is excellent and allows you to find what you require quickly and easily. Another advantage of this site is that, unlike many other online shopping sites, the postage costs are displayed prominently for you to see, so there are no hidden costs. The items that you order are usually delivered within 24 hours by first class post and even at busy times, such as Christmas, when I ordered a book that was sold out in all of the high-street book shops, Amazon was able to deliver it promptly within five days.
The ease of use of shopping on this website is remarkable, with registered users being able to buy products with just one click, therefore reducing the time taken to laboriously fill in forms of delivery details etc… One of the most intricate touches that inspires confidence in Amazon is the way in which it allows you to see if your order has been sent yet and the fact that it sends you an email when the order has been sent. This allows you to track to progress of your order and gives you the option of canceling any order pending, before they have been sent, if you wish.
I would recommend this site to anyone, but especially to people who need a particular, hard-to-find product or those who want a product that is on the bestseller lists or in the album / video charts, as there are reductions that, even including p+p, undercut the retail prices on the high-street.
